We strive to create a positive and supportive space where children can build relationships, explore their interests, develop essential life skills, and receive the support they need to succeed in school and beyond.Program Description Wildcat Club offers before-school, after-school, summer, and select non-school day child care opportunities for children and families in the Harrisonville School District. Our program is designed to serve children whose needs can be safely supported within a group child care setting and current staffing ratios. Families are encouraged to discuss individual needs with the Director to determine whether appropriate accommodations can be provided. Wildcat Club is available for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Students who have completed 5th grade have aged out of the program. Full-day programming is available on select non-school days throughout the school year. Please refer to the Wildcat Club Calendar for specific dates and availability. On days when full-day programming is offered, space may be available for students who do not attend the Harrisonville School District. Additional information can be found in the Wildcat Club Handbook. Registration When you submit a registration request, it will be reviewed by Wildcat Club staff. Submission of a registration request does not guarantee placement in the program. Your child is not officially enrolled until you receive confirmation that the registration has been accepted. Upon acceptance, a non-refundable $25 registration fee will be assessed. This fee helps secure your child's spot and supports program administration and materials.Weather and Emergency Closures Wildcat Club is closed on all AMI days, snow days, and emergency school closures. If severe weather or other emergency conditions extend for multiple days, the Director will evaluate staffing, building access, and safety conditions to determine whether services can resume. At the Early Childhood Center, our vision is to grow together through play, connection, and care. Our children feel safe, loved, and valued; families feel supported and connected; and our staff work as a dedicated, flexible team to create joyful learning experiences where every child can thrive.Our ProgramsPreschool - At the Early Childhood Center (ECC) we provide full and half day preschool for students who are 3 and/or by July 31st. Each classroom is led by a certified teacher and a qualified paraprofessional. Our programs are supported through tuition, local and state funding measures and the Missouri Quality Preschool Grant (applies to 4 year olds only). Little Cats Club Back to School WeekBack to School Child CareBack-to-School Week Programming provides a safe, familiar, and engaging environment for children as they transition back into the school year. Enrollment is limited and available only to students who were enrolled in Wildcat Club before- and after-school programming during the 2025–2026 school year and staff kids. Activities will include games, outdoor play, crafts, team-building activities, and opportunities to reconnect with friends and staff before the first day of school.
